A fine Friday night
A good night of riding, Bandit did well on the cows after a while… I liked when I had to chase one back to the herd at a gallop… on the way home stopped at Stewart’s and picked up a 12 pack of beer, made some popcorn and got a nice buzz on. Ahhh, a fine Friday night.

Spring cleanup
I finally got one (out of four) trimmers working, thank goodness. I got so frustrated yesterday I took one of the trimmers and threw it in the garbage. (I might go back later and take it out… no let it go) I put the repaired gear box on the brushhog so I can do some mowing soon. The sun is out and I’m feeling better.

Into the Mystic
Played “Into the Mystic”, “I can see clearly now”, and “Brown Eyed Girl” last night on my baritone guitar. Pete stopped in after his gig and played some mean guitar with the band… How cool is that!
Got my MRI yesterday for my shoulder and see the doctor next week.

I Ustreamed several hours of the horses at today, and recorded a cool segment by chance… I was at the computer when some action was going on and recorded it. Check it out.
Twenty Five Things About ME
I can fix almost anything with duck tape, bailing twine, or hot glue. I just used my hot glue to make my keyboard slip proof. I repaired several horse blankets in the last two weeks. My profile photo… the brim has black duck tape which is hot glued on… 2 points!
I have trouble throwing anything away, and half the time when I do I go back and get it out of the trash.

From my back deck I can see the moon, Venus, and Jupiter. Venus is much brighter than Jupiter and the moon is crescent. The stars are hidden tonight so the planets are easy to see.

A busy day
I just loaded ubuntu on my second computer on a disk drive which lost it’s boot for windows… a win win! I am working on my certification for CompTia A+ and for CompTia Linux+ so setting up ubuntu linux will help.
I will go out now and clean the stalls and get some fresh air. I was really please with the Skype program for video calls… and want to try it with a better camera,...

Get it done before it's too cold.
Today I’m repairing fences, picking up rocks, doing a drainage project.
mini trail ride
Just got back from riding Bandit on a little trail ride, just me and him in the woods. I told him to be careful and that we had to depend of each other. He did just fine. I also rode Chevy T in the pasture for a bit because Diana is taking her on a ride tomorrow. I’ll be home minding the fort :)

Stress test today
This morning I went for the first part of my stress test. Everything is ok but I wanted to see if I was a healthy as I thought I was. I got the idea to be tested just in case as I am reaching a milestone this year. If I could have had a photo taken in the treadmill I would have… just like Andrew does… I actually wore shorts! :)

Today is Pete’s birthday. We ended the night Tuesday playing a song together, even though we both were tired…. I’m always glad for those times. Seize the day.

Time to Ride
I just rode Hotshot around the farm a couple of times and gave him a bath. He is now drying in his stall. He will roll in the dirt when he goes out but if he’s dry first it won’t be a big deal. We are going to see a horse show in a little while and then might ride tonight…. we’ll see.
